Results!!!

Well, I finally heard back from my doctor about my test results.  Some of this may be more information than you want to know…so sorry.

Dustin’s blood work came back fine.  His semen analysis was a little shaky.  His quantity was good, but his motility (how fast they move) was low.  He has what they call “lazy swimmers”.  So, they want him to start taking another vitamin tomorrow to help with that.

My blood came back excellent.  They tested my ovaries to see how capable they are of producing good healthy eggs.  They like the range to be between 1 and 4, and mine was 5.57 which is very good!!!  However, we are still dealing with the fact that I need help ovulating.  So, we have decided to do artificial insemination ( ovulation induction) again.  They are sending us the information in the mail, and once we get that information and go over we will let them know if this is really something that we want to do again….we do!!!  They will have to start me on Provera (to bring my cycle on) since I have not had a period since December.  After that, we will start on the pills, injections ect…and then set a date for our insemination.  If I would have to guess, I would say that we will do the insemination around the end of May.

We are so excited that the results were not bad.  Granted, we would have liked for his little guys to swim faster, but you can't ask for everything to be perfect.  So, we will gear up for this journey again and hope that we get our miracle baby in the end!!!!
