Charting

Ok, so I have come to the conclusion that I am doing something wrong with taking my temperature.  I know that it's easy, pop the thermometer in, wait until it beeps and write it down, but I have to be doing something wrong.  My temperature is all over the place and instead of it going up, it keeps dropping.  I am starting to get very discouraged.  I know that this only my first month charting, but I was hoping for better results than what I am getting.  Maybe it will take me a couple of cycles to get the hang of it, but I don't want to wait a couple of cycles....I want it to work now.  I have been waiting long enough.  According to the ovulation predictors on-line (which I know I shouldn't go by since my cycles are so irregular) I should ovulate either today or tomorrow, but my temperature is not reflecting that.  So, I am not sure what to think.  I just keep telling myself, that maybe I will ovulate later than what the calculators say....I guess we will just have to wait and see.
